arlimyst: New to BA but picked up a good gig with All Terrain. Now my problem is I find that a lot of promos overlap. How do you keep working without conflicts?
laura8244: well, you can't clone yourself so you only work one at a time :o)
laura8244: if you think you can pull it off you'll end up hurting yourself, not showing up, canceling and such...not a good idea in the beginnings.
PromoPro12: AIM is the worst company I've ever worked with. There are many lawsuits pending right now. Many BAs have contacted labor board about AIM all across the country. I know because I work for them. I did not "find" this information, so I know fi
PromoPro12: first hand.
PromoPro12: If they have paid you, check your paychecks meticulously. They are known to not pay fully for all events you have worked and "miss" one or two events on your check each period.
PromoPro12: In other news, All Terrain is an AWESOME company to work for!
arlimyst: Loving working for All Terrain. Just wondering how do you choose a gig, and how do you find new ones. Mostly looked on Craigslist so far.
arlimyst: Though I have looked up Marketing companies online and sent in my resume.
arlimyst: I've been approached by Innovation, Inc. here in Sacramento. Anyone heard of them?
arlimyst: I saw that ad for the $120 demo jobs. The ad seemed unprofessional. I'm picky about grammar and spelling, lol.
larubia: Well I know first hand that PromoPro12 is a liar
PromoPro12: I'm not a liar. I work for AIM on the program they are running right now for the Sony Reader. I have plenty of other coworkers who will vouch for everything I have said. We have documents upon documents of shady practices of AIM from this program alo
PromoPro12: alone.
GABRIEL: Hey James those Demos express people are abusing the Job board. If it was me I would delete all those individual postings, and have them put all those markets in one advertisement.
GABRIEL: They look pretty desprate and will continue to be since their pay rate sucks!
GABRIEL: They really should go back to Craigs List!
PromoPro12: They should start charging here for job postings. Even just $5. Then you'll easily find out what company is legit and what isn't. I know quite a few that couldn't afford $5 posts.
PromoPro12: One of them would be AIM since they sent checks out in October and people who tried to cash them at Bank of America were unable to because they brought up a security red flag. Sounds like a legit company to me. *rolls eyes*
Horiib: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT DEMOS EXPRESS
305live: I agree with PromoPro12 as far as AIM.
305live: HispanicMarketing.biz is a new staffing and marketing company, check them out.
sk8er702: hey, i am new to the marketing field and i was wondering if some one could give me any pointers on where to get a good start, or how you got your start. Any input would be appreciated
Josephjay: Hello
