They are known to have extremely delayed payments. I've experienced it, and so has everyone else that has worked for them. Communication is nearly nonexistent with them. I'd recommend reaching out but just know that if you do so repeatedly they will black list you. Happened to me! I didn't care though as I didn't really plan on ever working for them again. Regardless, if you are industry for a paycheck at the end of the week you need to seriously rethink what you are doing with your life. Some companies take 2 days to pay out, and others take 2 years.

I'm not saying any of this is right (or even legal), but no one has seriously filed suit and actually gone through with it. Until that happens, Attack, EPShits, and all the other lame ones will just never learn that they need to hire people that actually made it past the 5th grade.

Best of luck to you. Take a look at your contract. I know their contracts used to state 45 days. Let us know what yours says.

Kasey, if you included this additional info in the first post, I could have better advised you.
My new guess:
a.) They are utilizing the maximum time allowed to pay you all per their contract (could be up to 3 months)
b.) They haven't been paid yet on this project and won't pay staff until they receive payment.
or
c.) A unique circumstance beyond all understanding and control.

Either way, this info should of been communicated to you all by Attack. Best of Luck! :)

Attack is a big company with a relatively good rep.
Your best bet is to ask them about it.
My guess is either:
a.) You didn't send them an invoice (if required)
b.) They misplaced your invoice
or
c.) They are missing your w-9 or indy contract and can't process your payment, but don't feel obligated to contact you.

Hope this helps!

This website is a money making scheme. They initial services are free and then they force you to pay $250 to create a CV or remain jobless. This is not fair, this is fraud, the are cheating people out of the money they rather use to survive in the countries that $250 really matter.

I have found out the owners name, its Rabea Ataya, this guy is a fraud, scam. He has a very bad reputation in the GCC countries for coming up with money making scams. I did some search on the web and found a lot negative articles on Bayt.com and I am not sure how they can still have an office in Dubai.

There is a way to complain to the UAE authorities its called Al Ameen Services http://www.alameen.ae/ complain here if your have lost $250 for Bayt.com CV creating service.

I am a junior accountant and was looking for a job in Dubai. I applied to www.bayt.com and found several positions that matched my CV. I tried contacting Bayt many times and got no response from them and after a few months they sent me an email telling me that if I applied for their CV services they would guarantee me a job. So they made me pay them $250, they also said we guarantee you a job and sent me this link http://www.bayt.com/en/career-services/guarantee/

I waited for the CV to be returned back to me and it took them over a month. Once I got back my CV I did not see any changes in it and I demanded an answer from them, I have not heard from them since then. This entire episode has taken me 4 months now with constant phone calls to them and emails that are not being replied to. When it came time to take my money they were constantly emailing me to pay.

I am short of $250 and I want justice. Can someone one please let me know which organization I need to complain too. I have also seen other postings about the owner Rabea Ataya being a fraud and a scam artist. Had I knew this I would not apply for their services. I will make sure not one else falls for this CV scam.

I got the same message but Promo for cabo wabo tequila. I was researching the Mexican work visa's and it does say there is a fee and that the employer who is going to employ you has to obtain it for you. Although it never mentions how much the fee is I doubt its more than a US passport. AND its true that usually when asked for money upfront its a SCAM..

&& why wouldnt the check be written out to Eric Milam instead of Stamper HOlding (which i googled and doesnt exist) because theres no such person? I also googled the 'Event Solutions International' which also doesnt exist as a promotion company. He mentioned all expenses paid but why wouldnt the girls also be getting paid a SALARY? - never mentioned? - If it were legit the cost of the work visas would have been taken out of the salary. Nice try 'eric' or w.e your name is. What goes around comes back around!!! b a s t a r d. =)

We would like to contract you to work the Cabo Wabo tequila promotion in Cancun, March 20-27. You will be traveling with seven other models, rooming with one, and working either a day-time pool party (10am-3pm), or a night-time cantina promotion (7pm-12am) each day. The uniform is a Cabo Wabo bikini with boy-short bottoms, a wife beater tank (optional), and a mesh-back trucker cap (optional). All accommodations at the resort including food will be covered, and you will be payed by check on the final day of the promotion. You can learn more about the product at www.cabowabo.com. If you already have a valid passport, we will just need to get your Mexico work visa processed asap. Please forward your full legal name, date of birth, current address, contact phone number, passport number and expiration date or drivers license number/state and expiration date. We will file your visa application for you, stating that you have been hired to work for us in Mexico, but you will need to send a certified check/money order to the processing agency to cover the fee's. The cost of the work visa is $195.00, and there is a $75.00 processing/expiditing fee. ($270.00 total) The visa takes about two weeks to process, so it needs to be recieved no later than next Friday, February 12 in order to get it back by March 1. Make payment payable to Stamper Holding, and attach referrence# 336641314. Send it to: Stamper Holding, 7095 Hollywood Blvd, Suite 809, Los Angeles, CA 90028. Once your visa is processed, you will be provided with a contract and travel details. If you have any questions in advance, please give me a call.

IHG Contest Targets Disenchanted Hilton Guests
IHG's Priority Club Rewards to 'give back' up to 400 million loyalty points in global "luckiest loser" competition.
PRESS RELEASE -- Hotels, 2/3/2010 7:52:32 AM
IHG's Priority Club Rewards launches its worldwide "Luckiest Loser" competition. In response to the recent increases in the Hilton HHonors hotel rewards rates, which effectively devalued HHonors members' points by about 20%, Priority Club Rewards is offering consumers a chance to gain back their "lost" loyalty points. The Priority Club Rewards member who has the highest verified Hilton HHonors points balance will be the "Luckiest Loser" and gain two million Priority Club points; enough to redeem for about 80 free hotel nights at more than 4,000 of IHG's hotels across the globe. Another 20,000 "Lucky Losers" will be awarded up to 400 million total Priority Club points to help compensate for what they are "losing" with Hilton HHonors.

"If you want your loyal customers to stick with you during tough times, it's vital to show you appreciate them and give them more value, not less. So it's no wonder there was such a negative reaction to Hilton devaluing their points program," said Tom Seddon, chief marketing officer, IHG. "Some of our customers, particularly ones we're talking to on social networking sites, asked us if there was anything we could do to help - so we're offering to replace their lost Hilton HHonors points with Priority Club points, giving them the opportunity to stay for free at any one of our 4,400 hotels around the world."

The current loyalty market is arguably as crowded and competitive as it has ever been, and savvy travelers are taking notice. In fact, during 2009, Priority Club Rewards members redeemed 10 percent more points than in 2008, making the most of new reward options such as Flights AnywhereTM and Points & Cash to maximize the value and versatility of their points for everything from travel expenses to everyday purchases such as gas, groceries and holiday gifts.

"We know from research that the value of loyalty points is paramount to members," said Don Berg, vice president, Loyalty Programs, IHG. "Travelers depend on their rewards to help them cover the costs of their summer vacations and weekend-getaways, and they don't expect their points to suddenly lose value overnight."

To enter the competition, participants must also be registered Priority Club Rewards members as of Jan. 31 and follow the verification process.

Simply supply their Hilton HHonors points balance at www.priorityclub.com/luckiestloser

Each qualified participant will automatically get 1,000 Priority Club® points just for entering.

The top 20,000 "Lucky Losers" will each "gain back" up to 20% of their current HHonors balance in Priority Club points (up to 20,000 points each)

The "Luckiest Loser" will win two million Priority Club points - enough to stay with IHG hotels for free for almost three months.

The competition will run through February 28, and is exclusive to current members of both Priority Club Rewards and HHonors programs as of Jan. 31.

Hi Jason~
PromoModels.com is different from the site the poster was talking about, but yes, I have heard the same about PromoModels.com. My husband is currently part of a cross-action suit against then for failure to pay. He worked for them 2 years ago, and still hasn't received payment, nor a response from anyone in the office. Some girls posted on Craigslist that they too were ripped off, and you can't believe how many stories came back from other promo models stating the same thing!
Good luck getting your money, and hopefully, they won't be able to do this to anyone else in the future.
Make sure to ALWAYS research the company you work for!!!

I agree, I love a full schedule so filling my diary with dates makes me happy :)

The uncertainty of when you next event will be booked is one of the only downfalls of working with in this industry so having dates confirmed is great...however I do understand that this is not always possible.

If you are not actually booked on a campaign it would be pretty horrible to be "blacklisted" for taking on another event, I would always give the office a call and explain the situation first however I am sure if they were in our situation they would have to take on the definite booking too. At the end of the day we all have to pay the bills, it is just a matter of communicating. I also think it is nice to see constructive criticism rather that people being so negative all the time!!

Hostels can be really awesome, and save money. I only wouldn't recommend them if you consider yourself high maintenance, because they're usually pretty bare bones necessity. (or like was said, if you have a long day and all you want is a private bath and some A/C blasting) Hostels are more for the exploring traveler's experience, not a weary tour manager.

My fav one is in Tampa FL called Gram's Place. I've stayed in one in Chicago too, I think it was Chicago International Hostel.

Another thing... Scammers ALWAYS promise you work in exchange for your money (such as this). the result? NO WORK. It works the same way with fake modeling agencies, modeling schools.
Also, watch out for the www.promotionalmodels.com website...
I think thats one of "Jay's" websites too. In which you have to "pay" a fee in order to receive promotional work.
I've worked promotions for 7 years and never have I had to pay for ANYTHING. (except my own wine tasting cups which they reimburse back to you anyway). HA!

This guy did good, though.. he almost got me. Because this is an actual promotion that runs for spring break that i have missed in the past.

Yes, this IS a scam!!!!!!
I called the REAL National Event Staffing and they said that this guy does not work for them, and they're been getting MANY calls from other girls about this too.

I got the same email too here it is:

"We would like to contract you to work the Pacifico spring break promotion in Acapulco, March 13-20. You will be traveling with seven other models, rooming with one, and working either a day-time pool party (10am-3pm), or a night-time cantina promotion (7pm-12am) each day. The uniform is a Pacifico bikini with boy-short bottoms, a wife beater tank (optional), and a mesh-back trucker cap (optional). All accommodations at the resort including food will be covered, and you will be payed by check on the final day of the promotion. You can learn more about the product at www.mexicoviapacifico.com. If you already have a valid passport, we will just need to get your alcohol permit/work visa processed asap. Please forward your full legal name, date of birth, current address, contact phone number, passport number and expiration date or drivers license number/state and expiration date. We will file the sponsored paper work for you, but you will need to send a certified check/money order to the processing agency to cover the fee's. The cost of the permit is $195.00, and there is a $75.00 processing/expiditing fee. ($270.00 total) The permit takes about two weeks to process, so it needs to be recieved no later than next Monday, January 25 in order to get it back by mid-February. Make payment payable to Stamper Holding, and attach referrence# 336641314. Send it to: Stamper Holding, 7095 Hollywood Blvd, Suite 809, Los Angeles, CA 90028. Once your permit is processed, you will be provided with a contract and travel details. If you have any questions in advance, please give me a call.

Jay Bullock
National Event Staffing
(424)249-2317"

Hints that this is a scam:
**He is emailing you from a ROCKETMAIL account how unprofessional is that?? (nationaleventstaffing@rocketmail.com)
**3. Stamper Holding is not a real place (google it, you won't find it).
**That phone number is his cell,
**He wants the money like, right now.

Wow.. i feel very sorry for the REAL National Event Staffing company because this guy is going to wreck their reputation.

Thanks for the response, Dev :)

I've never stayed in a hostel before, but was researching the idea more for extended promotions I work when I'm not "officially" on tour (when travel may be fully, partially, or not at all compensated).. the friend I mentioned had such interesting stories, that it sounded like a fun (not to mention inexpensive) way to make the most of those sorts of experiences.

Perhaps I didn't get the full story.. or perhaps my friend was just lucky ;)

Regardless, I look forward to hearing about any other experiences too!
