Curious how many people around the nation are effected by the Coke Zero promotion that was run by Escalate and Beloved.

Turns out Beloved has not paid due to Escalate not paying.

Any feedback is appreciated.

One of my friends has still awaiting payment for the Coke Zero event she worked. I am sorry that you are in the same boat, hopefully you will be paid shortly. It's good to know the delay is because the client hasn't paid, and not because the marketing company is refusing to pay you.

IMO: I believe an agency should pay Brand Ambassadors in a timely manner for their work despite any non-payment/late payment from the client. It doesn't change the fact that the Brand Ambassadors worked the event(s), and deserve to be paid for their time (within industry standard). This is an issue that should be resolved between the marketing company and the client, and the Brand Ambassadors shouldn't have to suffer because of it. I guess it's a lose/lose until the client coughs up the cash.

I was on the Coke Zero team in Dallas through Beloved from Sept-Dec. and never had any problem getting paid. Every 2 weeks like clockwork.

It seems as though it's just been a recent problem with the client not paying. Any company that pays every 2 weeks is wonderful in my book, it's just a bad situation that's come up recently that's unfortunate for some BA's.

I personally don't trust Beloved have burned me and extended hours without reconfirming and slow to pay. Any legitimate business should have enough capital to pay their vendors.

Escalte is a joke. They got fired by Coke and I have only heard complaints from them. I interviewed with them and they sounded so shady; they offered me the job and I told them no. Since they did not get the work from Coke for 2010 (since they got fired) dont expect them to pay any bills to anyone.

I've been working with Beloved since September as well, on the Coke Zero program in the NH/Boston area and I haven't had a problem at all with them...I always got paid on time and they always answered my e-mails. I was not aware of them being fired though...all they told me was that they were waiting for the client to pay them which I thought was weird because everything had been on time before - so why the delay in the last 2 weeks? Hopefully this gets cleared up soon, I want my $!

I did not work for Escalate or Coke Zero or Beloved. I have friends that worked and informed me of the situation. I told them I would put some feelers out into the promotion community.

Beloved has started responding and says they are still awaiting payment from Escalate.

I have heard similar information that Escalate was taken off of the Coke Zero program due to poor performance.

Thanks everyone for responding. Keep up the great work~

My friend received a check the other day for work she had done with them in December. I assume everybody else who worked might be in the same boat. Don't spend it all in one spot ; )

I am still waiting on payment from my very last promotion w/them for coke zero. It's been over 50 days and they still say they haven't been paid by the client. :/
